You're not.... but a Teacher

You're not... but a Teacher"
You're not a sculptor
Who carves shapeless wood
But you carve the character of individual
You're not a doctor
Who cures the sickly
But you cure the lonelines of the human soul
You're not a lawyer
Who defends liars
But you defend hte righteousness
You're not a farmer
Who plants food to feed
But you plant knowledge and moral values
You're not... but a teacher
Who guides the youth
To bring light in the future
It's almost 3 years since I passed my Licensed Exam for teachers but unfortunately until now I haven't practice my profession yet.
The above poem reminded me of my previous mentors who patiently inculcates on our mind not only academics but also good values. I am happy and proud of my batchmates who are now practicing their profession because they have shared their knowledge and values to the young minds.
