YOU'RE EVERYTHING I NEVER KNEW I ALWAYS WANTED!

That is one of my all time favorite movie quotes! It comes from the very sweet and funny movie 'Fools Rush In'. Of course, this is the type of movie I love. The impulsive love that brings two people together forever. The sad reality of these kinds of things is never so beautiful, though. The man and woman who wrote the movie based on how they met and fell in love filed for divorce right after the movie opened in theaters.

But, I still love the idea that it doesn't need to take a lot of tedious work to find real love. My romantic heart tells me that we'll just know when we've found the right one. Not that it would be an instant kind of thing or at first sight. But, that it would only take a few weeks of getting to know someone to discover if it is love or not. To know if this person is the one you'd want to wake up with every morning.

It is entirely possible that my mistakes in love can be blamed on my desire for movie romance. To have the happy endings ala 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' or 'An Affair to Remember'. To be wooed and swept off my feet in the fashion of 'The Laws of Attraction' or 'An American in Paris'. Finally, to be loved so completely for the rest of my life as it was in 'The Notebook'. I believe with all of my heart that kind of love exists. I don't think I could go on with an optamistic view of my future love life if I believed otherwise. There must be a man who loves life the way I do ~ who believes in fire and passion!

I do enjoy the search for love. There are so many opportunities out there in that big ol' world! So, will I go with the flow ~ hoping that the current will deliver me safetly away from the rocks and sweep me into the arms of someone wonderful.
