Young master Pan

In answer to a comment by the venerable Sassys in response to my previous post about going to see the Peter Pan statue in Kensington Gardens in London I thought I'd oblige by posting an image of the little rascal.

It's obvious that Captain Hook is no match for this diminutive hero. I suppose I quite like the idea of not wanting to grow up and losing that magical outlook on life we once all shared.

This is great, James!
Thanks, so much, for this wonderful picture. That statue is magical - just magical!
You're welcome, PW. The actual
setting of the statue is quite special as well; slightly set back from the path in a little grove of trees, overlooking the Long Water. The whole thing really is quite special.
This is definitely at the top of my list when I visit
London, James. I'm saving my pennies. Someday......
You'll get there, no worries. It's a great place to
visit with lots to see and do.
Wow james it's just as I remebered it to be! Beautiful!!

I have such fond memories of reading Peter Pan to my own kids...This statue does the book justice. Thank you:D
Glad you like it, Sassys. It really is
a wonderful story, full of magical adventures and spirit.
A couple of years ago James I took my kids to

Disney World and they too have a really good show of Peter Pan...It is indeed a magical book and movie.
I even enjoyed Dustin
Hoffman's tongue-in-cheek version of Captain Hook in that film.
