You Have TO READ THIS!!!

I had to read it twice. I just couldn't get over it. I was left speechless! I still couldn't believe it, I thought it was a joke. I called over 2 of my kids and told them to read it. They were shocked. I know it wasn't me being out of touch with reality...

Wedding Plans

I am planning a wedding myself, getting married in just about six months. The average wedding does cost $25K plus but doesn't have too, we are planning our wedding for much less. The highest prices items will most likely be the rings. The first things out of my fiancee's and my mouths was we would pay for the wedding ourselves. We knew neither set our parents could afford. We're viewing our wedding as a celebration instead of an elaborate event. It should be more about the person you're spending your life with than how expensive your wedding days needs to be, is it really necessary when you consider over half of marriages will end in divorce anyway?

outrageous!

my husband and i opted for a very small, family only wedding. it was intimate, beautiful and the focus was on us, the couple getting married, not on some voerpriced DJ, crazy buffet, or flowing liquour. and it cost us FAR less than 25,000.....i think we spent around $4,000 total, including absolutely everthing. i opted for a simple white shift rather than a crazy couture gown, etc. why not spend all of that money on a down payment for a house? people are nuts.
