X-Files Complete First Season DVD Reduced 50%!

You know I'm all into sci-fi and horror and that kinda stuff, and a lot of people have been comparing the new show, Eureka, to the X-Files. So it's been talked about a lot recently both in my own posts and others, as well as on the message boards.

And I came across this today on Amazon: the complete first-season of the X-Files on DVD ("the Slim Set") marked down from $50.00 to $25.00! It doesn't appear to be a sale; I guess the price has been lowered on this particular set all the way around. and while I was a fan of the show, I wasn't as obsessed with it as some were. It was real cultural phenomena in its time. I remember it had at least one convention all to itself, and I remember a slew of gamers who would show up at cons wearing the dark blazer and glasses. And they've been showing it on Sci-Fi late on the weeknights, recently.
