X3 is almost here!
As a self-professed comic geek, you might understand my excitement over comic-inspired movies hitting the theaters. Aside from Spiderman, none have been as eagerly awaited as the X-men. The first two movies built up an amazing plot that revolved around an enormous cast of characters. Action increased a hundred fold in the second movie and it opened the way for one of the most memorable comic plots: the Dark Pheonix saga. From the clips and Hollywood buzz I've seen, this movie well be worth the price of admission plus!
There has been speculation that the new director Brett Rantner isn't capable of pulling off the power and magnitude of such a movie. That's how a lot of people felt about Bryan Singer before him, or Sam Raimi on Spiderman, or Tim Burton with Batman, but all of those directors made powerfully memorable films. I for one can't wait to see what they've accomplished and how this third act of the mutant saga unfolds.

I agree, the preview for
I agree, the preview for this movie does look awesome. As far as Ratner goes, he's not my favorite director, but if he pulls this off, then he'll earn my respect.
Also just the number of mutants it looks to have is awesome..too bad no gambit or bishop as of yet(my two personal favs after Iceman-comic iceman not movie iceman.)
I must admit
I'm starting to get excited, too. It's been a bit of a wait, but for the cast they've got you kinda have to expect the wait and it's almost certain to be worth it.
