Wrote My Second Book

I've finally written a second book, hopefully proving to myself that I'm not a one trick pony. Thing is, this second book is quite short, and it's going to remain an ebook for awhile, but it still counts as a book. I'm not going to market it here, but I am going to talk about the process.

The book is on how to use a website as a marketing tool if you own a small business. I used the outline for a training session I did for a local community college as the template for writing it. I went back through the outline, both adding and removing things from it, because I wanted it to be more simplistic than the class was.

I also knew how I wanted it to be formatted, since I went in with the intention of writing it in the landscape format, instead of the normal portrait format, so that I could show website examples of what I was talking about.

And then I sat down and started writing, and of all things, it took me only two days to write it. Talk about being focused! After all, one of the other books I'm writing on I've gotten bogged down in, and I've only made 15 pages in three weeks.

I've already made a couple of sales also, and I'm thinking that, with time, I'll probably revise it and start adding more to it, and maybe one day it will end up being big enough for a regular book. The layout will still be odd, though; well, we'll see.
