Writingup.com Money for Bloggers

Everyone likes to make a little extra money now and then and Writingup.com offers that. But it isn't really about the money as much as it is about the blogging.
The layout is easy to figure out and you have an immediate feedback on your submission. You are able to track how many people have read your blog or others for that matter. Sometimes, I would have missed a good blog if I hadn't noticed how many people had read the blog. Sometimes the title doesn't attract me but the fact that several people have read it and commented on it draws me into it. I can easily navigate to my own blogs, other peole's blogs, save blogs I want to keep, and see a glimpse of what people are commenting on. On the front page they also have the number of members and guests who are visiting the site. This tells me there is a lot of traffic on the site which is of course good for bloggers.
I have learned a lot from many of the blogs I have read. There are a lot of intelligent people blogging and some are professional writers. I can remember when chat rooms were full of intelligent people. Then the teenies found out about them, invaded and turned them into the equivilent of Jerry Springer invades the chat room. Hopefully, this blogging site will continue to attract intelligent, knowledgable people.
Then there is the money. So far, I haven't earned enough to even brag about but I intend to stick with it and maybe over time, who knows? If not what have I lost? I enjoy the hobby of writing, I enjoy the blogging community, and I enjoy venting on whatever subject I feel like writing about. Even if I don't make much money blogging, at least I can sit in my rocking chair and blog to my heart's delight.
Which leads me to this thought. My computer, my desk, and my keyboard have given me a front row seat into cyberspace. I feel connected. I guess this is the modern day equivelent to the front porch.

i APPRECIATE!
I appreciate your views. By and large very satisfactory experience in blogging.
Addition: There is an imperative to identify the needs of persons other than writers and bloggers, who will be searching for something useful. I am trying but am unable to make any headway or at least a tail.
