Writing Resources - A Writing Treasure Chest
Have you ever tried to portray something in your writing and wished you had a visual from which you could describe the details?
This idea is similar to the one I posted previously about an Idea Farm, but with a twist.
For a Writing Treasure Chest, instead of or in addition writing down story or article ideas, include
newspaper clippings, travel brochures, advertisements, magazines pictures, etc. Include anything that might help spark a story idea, or give you details and descriptions to add to your story. These can be people, places, types and styles of dress, home decor, etc.
You can get as creative with this as you want. Use magazines, pamphlets, travel brochures, paint chips, anything that catches your eye.
If you really want to have fun with it, create your own "treasure chest" with a shoebox or other container and decorate accordingly.

good idea
I like the idea of having a treasure chest. Now if I could have a magic genie who would type all my stuff for me, that would be great.
Dreams Matter.

lol
Now THAT is a good idea!
Actually, the typing isn't my problem, it's finding enough time to do it all. I need a magic genie to create extra hours in my day. Or better yet, one who will do all the cooking and cleaning and mundane stuff so I can concentrate on the fun stuff...
