Writing Motivation

There are times when I have to motivate myself to write. Not just on a blog but for the places I write for. The ones that don't give me deadlines. I have learned that I thrive on deadlines much better than when you finish it, send it, and get paid. I love to write but I also love to watch movies and play video games. Those forms sometimes are easier to get into. Writing is a big part of my life but occasionally I have a hard time actually making myself do it if I can do it whenever.

What do you do to motivate yourself? Money is a good motivater but sometimes the lure of play is hard to resist. I really have to change some things if I want to really succeed at this.

Better go write for money now.
