Writing and gambling.

I finally got the article done for that one person that contacted me. Now they are reviewing it to make sure they still want it. I hate that part. I'm basically turning it over to them and hoping that they are honest. I'm not too worried.

The last time I talked about it, I forgot to mention that it was tips for winning at Texas Hold 'em. God knows I've lost enough games of Texas Hold 'em to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I even taught a friend of mine to play poker as badly as I do. :D As soon as the article is posted, if I get the address (which I want), I'll post it.

Anyway, I stumbled onto a site that lets you schedule poker games. One place called it "Myspace for Poker". I can't improve on that definition. :D There's apparently an online gambling ban, and even though I don't gamble on these kind of sites, I love the ingenuity of this site. The government says you can't gamble online- fine. You meet other people online and schedule a good old-fashioned poker game, complete with cigars and liquor. You're on your own as far as the legality.

A few days ago I wrote a post about, how bad I am at Texas Hold-Em - sorta. Tell your buyer that you've already got interest generated because I'll be looking for your article.

With each hour that goes by, I get more anxious. Maybe they are using it without paying for it. Maybe they hate it. That's it for sure. Or because it's for a men's ezine, they decided they don't want a chick writing for them. No, wait! I've got it. Hotmail and Paypal joined leagues to screw with me. :D

In the meantime, click here for the other article. Here's the reason I have several articles on the same topic.

Grr. Now I really wonder if they stole it. They haven't gone more than a day without responding to my emails before, and I've even sent emails asking them if it would work for them, which is a nice way of saying "Yo, where's my money?" Nothing. It still hasn't been that long, but the nagging feeling that I got cheated is there. From now on, it's Constant Content or Ether for me, and if the person doesn't like it, I don't need to do business for them. In the end, I'm writing for myself anyway. Not them.

Still, I pity the fool that plagiarizes me. I'm not sure "vicious" is a strong enough word to describe me. :D

because I also wrote an article about a year or so ago on tips for playing Texas Hold 'Em, but playing $2-$4. I'm probably going to write another article on how to play $100 No Limit at some point.

Talk about small worlds.

Reviews of Everything, reviews and opinions of, well, almost anything!
