Making $40 an hour!

I tried for years to find a way to work from home, but to no avail. Finally, when I wasn't really looking, I found a way! And never would have I imagined that in less than a year, I would be making $40 an hour working from home,.

But, last month, I cashed my first two checks working for $40 per hour. What a great feeling. Now THAT made all those hours of working on top of being a full-time mom and lack of sleep worth it!

I looked all over the internet for something I could do, but in the end, I found it here in my own backyard. I simply offered to help a friend who needed my skillset (even though he didn't realize it at the time). I did my first job for free - I am an instructional designer and I helped a doctor with a training seminar - simply because I wanted to help, not because I was looking for a job.

He ended up hiring me for all his future presentations, as well as referring me to others. I charge him a reduced rate, but for my new clients I am charging $40 per hour.

The BEST way to find a job working from home and making real money, from my own experience as well as others I know who do this successfully, is to find something you love and/or do well. Then do a lot of networking and tell everyone you know what you are looking to do. And don't be afraid to offer free services to begin with. Once they see that you deliver on your promises, they will gladly pay you what you are worth.

Good luck! Go for it!!
