Would You Join an Online Book Discussion Group?

I have had this idea kicking around in my head for a couple of days now. There seems to be a growing popularity of book discussion groups, not just for women, but among everyone. I have often wanted to join one, but do not necessarily have the time to devote. The idea I came up with was to start a blog that works as an online book discussion group. It would describe the book, then readers would read it and post their thoughts in the comments area. This way, a person can read the book at his own pace and post when he wants to. In fact, the members do not even have to be reading the same book at the same time. I could list a couple of books at a time, plus have an archive of previously selected titles. Readers could visit, select the book that most interests them, then give their feedback.

What do you think of this idea? Is it worth the time getting something like this started? Would you become a member?
