Would you come along?

A very short time ago I wrote and entry for blogitive about some luxury condos in Hawaii. I have wanted to go to Hawaii for a very a long time now. Staying there in condo would be the ultimate thrill.

The condo sleeps eight and I am just one. So I would have room for guests. I wonder if we could come up with a good idea for a reality TV show. They pick up the expenses and we get a free trip to Hawaii. Need some sort of hook for the viewers though and it can't be eight people locked into the house. I would not want to be in Hawaii and unable to get outside. And that has been done already anyway.

So here is my idea. 6 months 8 people; the goal start a business that generates $500,000 in sales in 6 months, ie a million dollar business. Hawaii and the condo would provide the incentive for reaching this goal. It would also be a huge distraction.

To get people watching and cheering for us, if we succeed then the proceeds pays for eight viewers to come to Hawaii on an all expenses paid vacation.

I think it would need more pulling power though. What would this show require for you to watch? I am a pretty good cook, a great life drawing model, and could show everyone how to make money blogging. Unfortunately that would not make for exciting viewing, watching 8 people typing at a computer. Nor would it bring anywhere near the money required.

Would you want to be a participant and what could you provide to reach the goal?

How could we make the show more entertaining? Once we figure that out how do we sell it to some studio?
