I work 2nd shift at a popular Midwestern resort. Today as I was getting ready to leave a friend of mine (a women) who works 3rd shift in my department came into work in distress. She told me that 3rd shift supervisor (also a women) went on a rant about working mothers and how it’s bad for kids. My friend flat out told her that she was a working mother and would prefer not to continue the conversation because she found it offensive. Anyway 3rd shift supervisor has started the paper work of letting her go (aka fired) over this incident. Anyway I’ll write about how this plays out some other time.
