Working from home doing customer service/support/ordering
I've been working from home doing various jobs for the last 8 years or so.
Sometimes, I make money from my own self employment, but other times I do contracting work for other companies.
One reliable company for homeworkers is West.

When I worked there, there was no fee at all for the telecommuters. I don't know if it's the same or not as it's been 3 years. But they did have alot of phone calls. The downside was they paid by the talk minute and there were alot of upsells. But they always paid on time, so it's well worth checking into. Basically, what you do is take orders for informercials.
Another company I worked for was Live Ops. At the time, I was working there, they did not have alot of calls. It was free back then as well, but I have heard that now they charge for background checks. I don't know this for sure, so it's worth looking into. They did pay on time as well, and basically it was the same work as west.
Another company that I would love to work for is working solutions. I've been on the waiting list for the last year. I've heard it is an excellent place and everyone I talk to that works for them love it.
You should never have to pay for employment, unless it is a background check. Only one time have I paid for anything to do with home employment, and that was to a website that listed work at home jobs. They did have a lot about 1,000, and it was a lifetime membership.
Never rule out working for yourself. If you have a special talent, look into making it a business.
