Working From Home

I am unable to work outside of my home so I have been searching for jobs that I can do from home. To say the least it has been nothing but frustrating. There are always two things that keeps me from finding a job...either I am not qaulified or it is not legitimate. Is it really possible to work from home without having to put money up front? Can you really make a full time income from home? I'm getting to the point of being extremely desperate. If anyone has some helpful input, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a goal of one day being able to work from home and actually make a good income. My friends and family think I am crazy, so I am intent on proving them wrong. Some day I know that something will work out...I won't give up. I'll just have to keep writing and hoping. I'll find something...somewhere. Will I...really?

A different idea

I have been searching as well. The one thing I can suggest is selling items on Ebay. Just start small - things around your home. It's free to set up an account with them. Ebay makes it really easy to sell things through them. I have sold a few items and have gotten good responses. It's worth looking into. Good Luck!!

I work from home...

Full time when I can. I am back in school so that limits my hours, but it can be done and done well. You have to be patient and presistent if you want it to work out, though.

It has taken me about a year, but I now make a decent income through freelance writing everything from ghost written ebooks, to football recaps, to web copy.

No REAL MONEY at HOME

I have not been able to work from home. I am looking myself but it seems as you said either I am not qualified...cause the real jobs...deal with computers, nursing, etc...or the other ones are fake..

It is really all about writing...

There are a lot of jobs out there for freelance web content and SEO writing, which is what I do. To begin with the pay will be crappy and the jobs will be tough, but it is about working toward those better ones. I have reached a point where I can make around $20 an hour. I am not getting rich, but I can pay some bills and play some golf on it while I am back in school.

Check out sites like freelancewriting.com, associatedcontent.com, and others like them. You may also try emails they are usually hiring writers for middle of the road money.

If you have questions let me know. I will help where I can, and you can always send me a private message for more info (and no not referral stuff where I will get paid)

I am already writing for Associated Content. Although the pay is low, it's good practice and good gas money. I will look into the others you suggested. Thanks again.

You can work from home

doing a few different things. This entry might help you start. On my blog at bloggerparty, I give different sites I have used to make money and on Getting Out Of Debt I give many other ways to make money from home, like cafe press. Google adsense is another way to make some extra income...

There are many opportunities out there. You just have to be pro active and persistent. I work from home because I have 7 kids, and the youngest (4 yrs old) is autistic. The autsim makes it difficult to find day care. Working from home can be done, it just takes time.

If you are looking for a business opportunity have a look aroudnd and find out what people want. Home services can be pretty lucrativate but it depends what is needed locally. I have a friend who makes money home deliverying organis fruit and veg.
