Working At Home

I think the hardest part about being a work at home writer is bidding on jobs. The clients have high expectations and they continually respond to my profile. They want me to work. But, they want me to work for the same price as people who have just started, or are only writing to pay the bills.
I've an agent who helps me land jobs, and I have a good profile at www.ifreelance.com. The problem isn't quality of work. I think it is just that people don't value 'written' work. They don't realize how difficult it is to produce good quality content, day in, day out.
The important thing is not to devalue your own work. You cannot write for one cent a word and still make a living. Keep that in mind when pricing your jobs.
