Working At Home! I want to really find someone who is doing this and really making money! I have been searching online for stay at home, work from home jobs and there are tons of jobs out there that say you can make a great income working from home. They say 5k a month. If you work part-time you will make 2k a month. Oh, really! Hey, enough is enough! Wake up! If anyone falls for one these scams, YEAH scams! That is what they are! Then that is there fault. How many people don't get it? If you want to make some money than go get a REAL JOB! Just like everyone else. You work a 40hr week and then you get paid. There is no such thing as get rich quick. Oh, I forgot, the LOTTERY! Get off your lazy butts and just get a job, and stop trying to work from home, and stop thinking you will get rich! GET A JOB, A REAL ONE!

I avoid the scams
I do work from home - as a writer. It is sometimes NOT the best venue - as it is not always quiet, but it's cheap. there are so many opportunities to do things from home but it is often a great hunt to find the right one for you/me.

What's with the negative attitude? Fallen prey to too many scams?
There ARE legit work at home jobs and people find them every day. I work from home and make a good living off of it.
People who work from home aren't lazy. It's often times harder work for less pay! Sheesh.

I work from home!
I work for an early intervention agency and I work from home. They pay $20.00 an hour parttime and upwards of $40.00 an hour fulltime. It's a lot of work, but I spend most of my day at home. I also have 7 kids, of which one is autistic. That's a fulltime job in itself.
My sisters used to do paralegal work for their bosses' (lawyers) colleagues-from home.
There are legitimate work from home opportunities. You just have to find them. Getting rich quick SCHEMES-that's just for the type of people that have:

I'm sure you hear that a lot. That in itself is an amazing feat, and you still manage to work from home - wow. I have hard enough time with my two kids, but they aren't yet school age.
I have 7 kids and I can't believe it myself sometimes!

Legitimate Paid Surveys and Mystery Shopping Jobs
The "surveys" that ask you to sign up for or buy something are NOT paid surveys at all. And should not even be placed in the paid survey category. A real paid survey is conducted by a market research company. It's intent is to gather information about the publics view of a certain product or advertisement.
A real paid survey pays a small fee to each of it's panelists who complete thier online survey. Panelists are never asked to purchase anything or give personalinformation such as credit card info, ssn, etc.

I work from home
Sorry to hear you had such a negative work at home experience. I work at home and make nice money. No I do not make 5k a month. But if you count what I would pay in gas, daycare for two kids ,etc....
I make the same as I did before I stayed home. Plus I get the added bonus of getting to actually raise my kids instead of paying someone else to do it. Man I had major guilt trips over that when I worked out of the house. I would not say I am lazy. Between the kids, house, hubby, and online business I would say I am usually always on the go doing something. Its harder in a lot of ways. But I feel its worth it. As for my success. Well I did have the added bonus of I worked in business management so I basically took the skills from those years and applied it to my home business. YOu just have to be a self motivated person. NO one is going to stand over you and make you work. YOu also have to have patience. Rome was not built in a day. I Hope There's Really a Way
I hope there's really a way to earn online like having a fulltime job. I, myself is experimenting on this. Joined some paid to blog sites, made my websites, getting paid to read mails, etc. I'm earning but not yet similar to my fulltime job. I hope someday I will quit my job to work online full time.
