Work At Home Scams Do Exist

I did a post on Work At Home Scams that has a CBS news clipping attached. I would say that a fair few of us have fallen for at least one scam or another so it shouldn't be so surprising that so many scam artists exist. I wouldn't be at all surprised that we would find some pretty good examples on BloggerParty itself.

The reason that so many people fall for scams is that so many people want an easy way to make money, and when someone promises that they have found a way to help them they figure what the heck, its only $40 (or whatever the scam is promoting). Hell, I admit that even I fell for it once.

The thing is that with a bit of research we shouldn't be falling for so many scams. The internet should be used as a tool to expose these shameful practices and we shouldn't be too greedy not to take the time to do some research before throwing our money away.
