For all of you horror fans there's a new book out there with real bite. It's called Wolf's Trap by new author WD Gagliani, from Leisure Books. It's the story of a Cop, Nick Lupo, whose trying to find peace in his world after the wrongs he committed as a werewolf. The character and story are interesting, and at times it can be a vulgar yet fun read, but more then that is the villain, a simple fellow named Martin.

Martin is upset at Nick and has a plan for ultimate revenge yet his spiraling psychotic behavior tends to get in the way. A short way into the story and I found that Martin was the real star. The character lives and breaths on each page, grabbing full ownership with each sentence. In my opinion, he may well be the next Hanibal Lecter.

If you find yourself bored by the rampant pile of vampire novels and are looking for something new, try Wolf's Trap. It will be worth the read and make you second guess talking to strangers at the mall.
