WN: Smokin' Momoko!

Submitted by YankeeOtaku on April 22, 2008 - 9:47pm.

The rise and rise of Momoko

The legendary Momoko of Berryz Kobo, April 2007.

YO's rating: A+ | The raw passion blasts through in one of the most amazing J-pop blog posts in years! The image that Wotaku Now! uses for this post is something I'm not going to give away -- go to the site and see for yourself! Indeed, if you thought the American Wota had a thing for Momoko, then you haven't read WN's enthused muse! Now this is balanced with an honest appraisal of Momoko's screamy delivery, but this kind of unleashed craziness is what blogging is all about, what all bloggers should live and strive for! We would give an A++ except for the text stopping about five graphs before we were ready for it to end! Killer post, and WN has hit a stride!

My brother*, are you sure that "raw passion" you're seeing isn't in fact a steamy mist emanating from yourself?

Not really, because I've never really been much of a Momoko fan. She's just a kid-next-door with stumpy legs but a unique voice inflection that could melt the heart of a grizzly bear. Wotaku Now! just finally got it out of me, and that photo was too awesome for words ... then again, maybe the caffeine just kickded in last night and I lost it like I'm prone to do from time to time. You know ... hyperbole!

That's cool Rad I accept your answer... (What would you think to using a thumbs up / thumbs down system as opposed to alphabetical grades? )

... but a lot of ratings blogs use that, and it's too general. Like, how much do you really like something? You would have to give a "thumbs up" to a post even if it was just ... OK. But it is a good thought, and a more popular way of rating blogs and posts.
