WITH MY COMPUTER

My computer became my partner
In it I found such a great pleasure
They came and spoke I didn’t hear
Time passed, I knew not who’s near

My family called me to meal at table
“One minute I said, from my saddle
Hours passed and I became a riddle

Slowly slowly I drifted so deeper
I’m addicted now to the computer
I lost all interest without being aware
I became a parasite to the computer

Hours and hours before the computer
And now I became to all a stranger
Everything mechanical I feel lonelier
Remained always lingering on my chair

Slowly I began to get exhausted
Without speech rest and sleep
All looked at me but said nothing
And that became for me a trial

I began to be away from my computer
And sought for faces with a kind gesture
They glanced at me with eyes in moisture
I smiled; their hug was a loving rapture

Light filled in me, I saw the light
Oh! In love the life can be so bright
In unity the burden becomes mild
My spirit flew high, I began to glide.
