Will We Ever Really Be Free

community | family | freedom | life | Religion

Some days when I have a moment to think I wonder what freedom really is. I live in the U.S.A. and I feel like 99% of my life is what I HAVE to do and in the end it won't get me anything that will matter.
At one point some women decided to burn their bra's and try and make us equal with men. No one asked me if I wanted to be equal I was forced into a world that is steadily going down. We don't value the important jobs like teachers, mothers, pastors, etc. the building blocks of our very being. We have effectively removed any moral education from our schools by removing all religion from them. We accept the fact that it is no longer a worthy thing to stay at home and raise children and I can't see why. It is all about, " What do you do?"(for a living). Medical benifits are outrageously priced so only higher income families can afford them. Day cares and schools are essentially raising our children and they aren't allowed to teach about a higher being even though most people believe in something greater than themselves.
So I find it nearly impossible to live my life the way I want because all of these very important things have been decided and I don't seem to have a choice. It is like raise your children properly or eat, not an easy choice.
Children can't even be children any more everything is a criminal offence. They have the legal system involved in the school like it belongs there. Did anyone ever wonder WHY we have such problems in our schools? It is all a symptom of a much greater issue that we face in this so called free country. The total breakbown of our society in general. Today it is all about ME and people don't seem to think about the man or woman next to them or they don't care.
I think in religion they are all essentially the same in a few areas like basic moral values and what is sometimes called the golden rule Do onto others as you want done onto you. By removing this from school it is like when Herod wanted to kill all the children in Bethlehem in hopes of stopping Jesus from comming. You can try to get rid of it but the Higher Being no matter who you think it is is not going away and all of these outrageous events that have trapped us into this farse of freedom could be cured by a little caring and compassion.
