WILL BIRD FLUE BE SUBDUED?

Today's news says that the Union health ministry is gearing up to send supplies of the drugs to the bird flu-infected areas in Maharashtra and other sensitive areas of the country where the outbreak of the deadly disease could take place.
These capsules have to be kept under a temperature of 25 degrees celsius. Once the order is ready by the weekend, the entire order of 500,000 capsules will be supplied in one week to the union government. But Hetro Drugs has not disclosed the cost of the entire order.
In the past few years, Himachal Pradesh is fast emerging as the pharmaceutical heartland of the country with several national and international pharma brands opening units in the hill state due to a tax holiday announced by the government.
