Why Ride A Motorcycle

I originally started to ride a motorcycle to get back and forth to work on and save gas doing so because I was spending about $200 a month in gas just to go back and forth to work. That has since changed. I find that riding my bike relieves stress after a hard days work. I also enjoy weekend rides and rides for charity. When I bought a motorcycle I was looking for cheaper transportation and found it in a used Goldwing. I ended up buying a 1997 Goldwing with about 15,000 miles on it.
I got it at a good price and while it may not have everything a new one has on it, it is still a nice bike and I paid a fraction of what a new one sells for. The Goldwing is a stable bike and a good bike for just about anyone. The power of a Goldwing is virtually unmatched. I have a GL1500 SE and the newer ones are 1800's. These bikes have a 6 cylinder engine. You can even get a Goldwing with an airbag on the newer models. Honda has always done a great job with their bikes and also offer rider safety courses.

my husband has a Harley and we just love to ride- but we also have had a couple of hondas, and they are really nice bikes, especially the Goldwings. If you want a comfortable ride, a Goldwing is the bike for that. I love Harleys, dont get me wrong, but after a day of riding, we have what is known as 'harley ass'. We too enjoy the relaxation of riding , and we do the March of Dimes-Bikers for Babies run here where we live. I love being around so many motorcycles, it is an awesome feeling, and especially raising money for such a good cause.
