Why people dress certain ways

It's interesting how you can walk down the street nowadays and see so many different styles and cloths that it becomes almost natural to label them. These labels we deem people make us just the same as those white folk back in the day labeling a black person a "nigger."

Nowadays its different though because some people like being labeled "emo" or "thug" because that is what they want to be seen as.

Cloths certainly do not make the man, but does the man choose the cloths? Yes. Everything in our lives has a purpose. You drink Jatoraide because you think it gives you carbohydrates. You wear Fike because it is the sport appeal. So you may not realize it but every action in our lives has a purpose.

Each individual wears something because it is in the image of who they feel they are. Now WHY they feel that way is a different story. They can be influenced by many people, many images on television or myspace and they see the people who absorb themselves in this look so much that others want to duplicate it

Also you can have cloths that make you feel a certain way for example pajamas make you feel sleepy and comfortable, and maybe those aviator glasses and the tight jeans make you feel like a cool calm movie star.

It is all for a purpose and acting as tools in the purpose are the cloths, they are the tools in making somebody believe you for who you are or to simply invoke a mood in yourself.

And thats why people dress certain ways....

It does not make you worse of a person if you label people or are one of those people attempting to be labeled, it is all the gravy we are just human beings and realize you will get what you want out of your life.[i]
