Why I'm anti-Oprah

That's a good topic ...I am anti-Oprah. Why? I'm not cruel or mean or hard hearted or stingy. I love people. I really feel for the people on her show. That's why I'm anti-Oprah. Everything is staged to make her look good and to ignore that even though she's supposedly pro-people that she has some very very disturbing signs of being a raging narcissist with a strong temper and an unfeeling heart.
You've probably seen the shows where she's donated so many things to kids and her Katrina effort and seen her look wide-eyed in the camera and cry and cry...and then you're like..wait..how is she a bad person again?

Well for one thing..she's not humble or modest. No not one bit. How many humble modest people do you know who go around telling you that they are humble? Shouldn't it be obvious that they are humble?
Also..I have a hard time with modest people who drink in praise and adulation the way she does...she's supposed to be a Christian (shocked aren't you? the way she knocks back that karma water I had a hard time with that myself)...but yet she has no people with people convulsing at the sight of her. She gathers in their hugs and tears and entreaties and makes promises of making it all better. I am sorry but I have only one God and it ain't Oprah.
Then there was that situation in Paris. She went to go purchase a Hermes scarf for a friend at a store and they wouldn't let her in because they were closing and they thought she was an African...and they'd been having some trouble with that group. She was outraged and made a big stink about it. But one..Lady...it was closing time...you're Oprah..but its a long business day..unless you were tipping me a little extra..I'm locking you out. Also number two..the issue here isn't that you Oprah ...almighty one..were locked out of an Hermes store...its the racism of them targeting people of African descent and not letting them in! If I wanted a scarf for a $100 (which I could easily get a knock off of for say a $1 in Chinatown that outlasts the original) and they refused my patronage based on my COLOR not my PRESTIGE ...I'd be a litte ticked.
Then the there was the issue of the author of A Million Little Pieces..James Frey. I understand that you were hurt, humiliated and embarrassed. I get that. Don't think for a second that I didn't. but...why'd you have to set a table on National Television and eat him alive? I mean if you say that you are humble and forgiving and generous and enlightened..why didn't you just reach over and give the guy a hug and say "I understand. I forgive you." Even the Dalai Lama would give you props for that one.Yet she couldn't do it..she had to eat him up in front of us all in a sickenig gesture.

The nail in the coffin for me however was with Kirk Franklin. I mean..he's a nice decent Godly man. But that's it ...he's a man.A man. He come with all the faults and quibbles and insecurities of us all. He had a pornography addiction, that in my opinion if his minister had done HIS JOB and offered some GODLY ADVICE and told him to put that baby to sleep...he wouldn't have suffered through for that long. If someone in my church came to me and said something like that ...I'd call a prayer meeting..this preacher told the man that it will pass. If you have a problem...when you take it to the pastor it means that YOU CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE...you can't handle it alone and you need intercesstion.
His wife a good woman of God was the one that fell to her knees and prayed him through and helped him. There was no scandal. There was no public outrage. No "God of Man Fallen" headlines. He chose to come on the show and share his story. It was like Oprah couldn't believe her good fortune and she ripped him up and pointed a finger the whole time. No compassion. No pity. No understanding. I think Kirk should be applauded. Not everything in the church is a-ok. We need help in the body. Men are suffering from chains of pornography and if they had seen that episode they'd know they could defeat that spirit and get help. But Oprah whipped it around that any individual watching it and trying to derive hope was flayed.

I hate hypocrites and liars and people who pervert the glory that belongs to God and tries to divert it to themself. Rather. I hate the spirits of hypocrisy, deceit and perversion. That is why ..I am anti-Oprah
