Why I Love Bicycles

I think it must be the first models, those with one small and one giant wheel. These ridiculous machines were mere attractions at first. They were clumsy and very uncomfortable. It was only when the Fetuccini brothers invented the double chain mechanism that modern bycicles appeared.

Okey, I made that last part up, but so what? Do I have to know everything if I just wanna talk about bicycles? In fact, tricycles are even more favorites of mine. I pedaled one not so long ago, when working in an institution for the mentally incapacitated. Hey, I wasn't one of the residents, if that's what you think...

Anyway, they have a nice collection of tricycles there and occasionally I would go for a wheeled stroll. The extra wheel version gives you the advantage of being able to relax and just ride, slowly, without any concerns about falling. Why did I tag this post with bicycles?.. Should have been tricycles really.
