Why I Dumped Anna Nicole

Well, some of you may know that I was all about the Anna - at least at first. I followed her son's death fairly closely, as well as her pregnancy and the ensuing madness (yet to cease), but when she died, you may have noticed that I didn't bother to post about it and some of you have asked why...

Aside from the obvious - that everyone and their brother would be posting about it - I just found the whole thing too damned tragic to dwell upon. Not to mention that I knew then it would be a major news story for quite some time to come. I mean, come on: first the pregnancy, then the birth, then the son's death, then the custody issue, now her death... it's the celebrity story of the decade so far.

I don't think Anna Nicole anything like Marilyn Monroe, although the similarities are obvious and don't bother repeating here. I do wonder if foul play was involved - have from the start, if you go read the earlier entries - but I'm not looking for a libel suit, so let's just say that I wonder and have since the whole thing began.

Still, while I made a post or two here and there and will likely speak out about it when more information comes to light, my interest in Anna Nicole has gone the way of... well, Anna herself.
