Why can't we Be as at ease with computers as children?

It is hard for us older computer users, the ones who just missed being taught about computers in school to catch up. I have a brother and a sister who are eight and ten years younger than me, both of them were taught to use computers at school but I wasn't.

I can remember my mother was amazed when one of my nieces then aged just 22 months switched the computer on, found the right cd, put it into the drive, opened the file and was happily playing her favourite teletubby game without any help from anyone. Children who grow up with computers have no fear and are not afraid to try things, whereas I am afraid that the thing will shut down and refuse to go again. I am absolutely certain that computers have a personality and mine hates me.
