Why blogging doesnt pay

I know your probably saying, what? are you crazy? Or you just might agree with me because maybe your a person out there not making a dime doing this. I see all these people saying they make 6 figures at this, doing what im doing, doing what your doing, is it really believable?
Blogging, isnt just about money, its not about the blogger, its about you, the people that read it, most new bloggers are in it for themselves, this is not the way to go. My happiness as a blogger is your happiness, and if I can share my own to the world, and share advice and things I have learned to make others smile and make another persons day a little bit better. Friends are priceless, and thats why im in this. Why are you in this? Let me know, please post a comment, please post why you blog and the reasons behind it. Here is one of my new blogs, its about securing your computer and making it better, I intend to make better blogs, but its a start, I intend to share my thoughts here for now, about the world, your world. Basicially, if you love yourself, and love the world around you, and care about the interests and well being of others, you will naturally be rich, priceless rich with many friends. :)

I originally started blogging as a SEO tactic. then I found that people would pay me to write posts for them on my blog. I see nothing wrong with this and am making up to $300 a week doing it. I hope to make over $500 per week by the end of the year.

I still do my normal posts, its just now with the sponsored posts I have a lot more content. I believe that the sponsored posts may be partly related to the fact I have PR4 nad PR# blogs.

you write blog entries for other people's products and they pay you, or you just write in place of them, use their name and a link, and they pay you?

Hi Catfish, sorry it took so long to get back to you. I only just came across this comment. Basically you get to choose what task you want to write a post about. It may not necessarily be a product, it could be a service or just a review of a website. They will supply a link (sometimes two or three) which they want you to include in the post. It's really easy and again if you don't feel comfortable about a task you don't take it.

I hope that helped, if you want more info just ask. If you visit my blogs just select the 'sponsored ad' category to see how I handle the tasks.

It can be done on a personal blog, but companies like PayPerPost, Spomsored Reviews and ReviewMme will not use sites like bloggerparty.

It's PayPerPost but you can earn $7.50 by review this POST or any other post on the blog that has the review me badge at the bottom.

I have a grandson who is in college and has been blogging for over a year. He and his friends have a lot of fun blogging and I thought I might try it. My main reason for blogging is to spread helpful information about subjects that I have worked with over the years. I didn't think about making money blogging until I received an email from a friend who steered me to a program about blogging. I'm retired and only have social security to get by on and I don't know if I'll ever make a dime blogging, but I enjoy doing it.
