Why am I doing this?

I forget why I started doing this
Writing this
Painting this
Like a sentence so long
That the end does not recall
A need for speaking

Any community must have
Spiritual leadership
Not denominational
Reflecting the innocence of a child
Yet aware of the manipulations of
Acquisitive self-interest.

A spiritual leader
Does not lead the life of a saint
But requires a conscience
To intuitively reject the bad
And embrace the satisfaction
Of honor, principle and respect.
