The ancient Gnostics varied widely as to their beliefs, they did not have the formal leadership of the churches we are used to today.

There were a great many different sects, some stating that spiritual freedom came only through the total denial of everything physical. Some of these Gnostics practiced voluntary castration ate but the simplest foods to stay alive.

Other Gnostics who decided everything physical was to be scorned and with scorn they indulged in the most lascivious sexual exploitations. (This if we can believe the later Christian accounts which we can’t usually trust).

What all Gnostics held in common was that the creator God(s) of the physical universe were evil. They held that we were to be trapped by the physical and was not to have the spiritual life we deserved.

Since the Gnostics did not believe they as yet possessed all knowledge they believed a search for higher truths were the most important activity.

The Gnostics believed that all humans were inherently honest, ethical and moral.

These Gnostics lived two thousand years ago; they were slaughtered as late as into so called modern times by the Christians who despised their courage to step away from their dominance.

Today, we have the knowledge of relativity; we can see that the big bang may have been caused on a quantum physics level and as we know we influence events on a quantum level no God may even have been necessary.

We know there has had to have been a source outside time/space as postulated by the Gnostics. We may have caused the chain event to take place which made the physical universe come about. We may also be what caused life to evolve without being aware of it today.

It may also be the case that there are rulers which exist that intercept us after bodily death as the Gnostics stated. These ancients only desired to know regardless of the outcome, Christians slaughtered them by the millions for seeking this knowledge. Christians still lie about the Gnostics; unashamedly they try to cover their past by minimizing the crime they committed against the entire human race.

Now is when it all happens, “now� is when we can take up the quest of the Gnostics again and learn who and what we really are instead of believing in the fantasy world of the Christians. After all, it is highly unlikely there were any “Christians� prior to Emperor Constantine. Prior to that time it was all different sects of Gnostics, none of whom would have recognized today’s Christianity!
