Who Needs to Sleep Anyway?

Well it is almost 2 a.m and like always I can't sleep. Usually I go to bed and fake it, until I eventually fall asleep, but tonight is different. I just couldn't lay there anymore. I guess I have too much on my mind. Maybe I just had too much caffeine today. I don't know. Whatever it is, it's making me very frustrated.

Speaking of being frustrated...I spent most of the day looking for ways to make money from home again. A lot of cool people (you know who you are) gave me some very helpful advice and information, which made todays search a lot easier and more productive than others. Maybe that's why I can't sleep...I'm just too excited about my possible new prospects.

I'm babysitting a hamster for my cousin and he is running as fast as he can on his wheel. He stops every now and then and looks around. I wonder if he really expects to be somewhere different. I feel like that sometimes. I'm always moving but I never feel like I'm getting anywhere. I wonder if my life will always be like it is now. Will it get better? Will it get worse? Life is what you make it and I plan on making all my dreams come true...no matter what...no matter how hard it will be. I guess in a way I answered my own questions.

It's now after 2 a.m. so I guess I need to try to get some kind of sleep. My day will start at 6:15 a.m whether I'm ready or not. It's a new day...a day to make something happen.

Sleep

What is more elusive the harder you try to catch it? SLEEP. It's tricky, but there are ways to assure at last some sleep each night. If it turns out such that you are in a habit of not being able to sleep for more than 3 - 4 nights consecutive, then you may want to consider further steps.

I agree...

I will be returning to the doctor soon for a nerve disorder that I have. Hopefully they will get me on the right meds and my life can be somewhat normal again. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Take heart, things will work

Take heart, things will work out, it's always slow at the start, but the important thing is that you have started the process.

Thank you....

We must always remember that patience is a virtue. Sometimes that's easier to say than follow...but it has to be done. Thanks for caring and thanks for the comment.

I find reading works

but it is hard when one's mind is ticking over too fast.

Yes it is! There's nothing

Yes it is! There's nothing worse than trying to sleep and all you can do is think about everything that has happened during the day and everything that may happen tomorrow.
