Who Does Your Money Work For?

How many of us really think about how our money is working, or who it is working for? We know that we must work to earn money, but at the end of the day who is your money working for? Do you know that money works 24 hours, 7 days a week. It never calls in sick, or goes on a vacation. Money is always working non stop. Who is your money working for, I ask? Is it working for you or the Bank? You see most of us when we receive our pay check, birthday money, just because money. We deposit it into our checking account and it just sits there. You may earn some interest on certain checking accounts, or maybe you have a savings account that earns interest. After you pay taxes on the interest you earn, who was your money really working for? Banks are in business to make money, they use your money to make more money. You borrow from the bank at 6% and they pay you 1% or better on your account. Who gets the other 5%?? If you were to purchase a home for $130,000 at 6% with a monthly note of $697.87. Did you know that in the first year alone you will pay a total of $8,374.44. Out of that total pay out $6,456.44 went interest alone which is money the bank made and $1,918.00 went to your equity (principal balance.)
If you were to sell this house in one year at 140,000.00 you would have made $3,543.56 and the bank would have made $6,456.55 even though the property increased in value of $10,000. You see the Banks math and Everyday Math works totally different. The Bank uses your money to make more money for them. Wouldn't you like your hard earn money to be working strictly for you versus the bank???
