White Rabbits On Wheels

Where I live, the oft quoted description of the city is,"It's a great place to raise kids."; with that in mind I have to say the minivan has become the curse of the open road here.
Everyone seems to drive one.
From the suburbs to the ghetto. You see gleaming ones to hooptie minivans clogging the roads.
It's okay, but the problem is the menacing way they 're driven. The drivers can't seem to get that they aren't a SUV or a sports car.
They approach the road with a White Rabbit attitude, they're late and the other driver be damned!
They cut in and out of traffic with kids terrorized faces pressed to the windows, they tailgate and invariably, when you look at the maniac driving, she's on a cell phone glaring at you intensely, to get the hell out of the way!
When will the auto makers stop adding the comforts of home to these rolling accidents?
The other day a van cut across three lanes of traffic while the mother was watching a dvd.
She had on headphones!
I can see the day coming when NASCAR will have a minivan 500.
Children teach your mothers to be kind.
