Which is more interesting?

I've been working on a book about dreams for quite some time. I originally formatted it like a diary. But I'm not sure if a novel would be more interesting. I would really appreciate some input.
The feedback I got so far has been great. I just don't want to mess it up. It would be easier for me to write it like a diary as well. But I'm not sure.
The beginning in the hardest part. I have everything else worked out.
Please leave me a comment if you have an opinion of this.
In other news, my dad keeps asking me why I spend so much time on the computer. I am writing of course, but he refers to it as "doing nothing." I guess he would rather me watch tv for hours on end.
I did watch a movie today. Just Friends. It was pretty good. I like Ryan Reynolds a lot. I wanted to rent Fun with Dick and Jane but Blockbuster was sold out of it. It is a rainy day after all.

Novel vs. Diary
I'd say your story would dictate the format. I know that sounds like a rotten cliche, but that's unfortunately all I can tell you without having seen the book or having a more detailed description. Are you planning on publishing it as nonfiction or fiction? Are you fictionalizing any information in it? I suppose a lot of details would come into play with this. I think I'd need more information before giving advice.

The book will be considered fiction. I might post the first chapter once I decide which format to use. Most of the material is finished.

diary vs novel
Hard choice. I think I prefer diary format if it's done well. Novel-like is probably the safer route. Not saying you can't do it well, I have no idea - maybe you could post a snippet.
diary
Thanks for the input. I prefer diary too. It would be easier for me as well. I might post something eventually. I just don't want anyone to plagiarise me.
