Where to place your Adsense blocks?

It is one of the greatest parts of the Adsense experiment.

Since it is your website or webpage, it is with you to decide.

Firstly choose the number of Adsense blocks you want to display on your page (you can put up to three blocks) ; choose the color and the form you will use and then the part of the page where you will display your ads.

Will you place the Adsense advertisements at the top of the page? In the middle? At the end? Left? Right? Embedded in the text?

To make this decision, think like your visitor: what are the needs of your visitor? What is he looking for?

Does your site contain articles your visitor will read or is it just an info site that your visitor will browse?

If your visitor has to read whole articles, place your advertisements as follows: a 250x250 or 300x250 square above or embedded in the text and another one at the end of the text ; a skyscraper on the right or on the left or better: a set of themes unit similar to your navigation menu and placed above this one.

Choose your ads colors according to the colors of your site: links in the same color than your site links, the text in the same colors than the articles or texts of your site.

By tracking the clicks on your advertisements, you will know what are the best positions and will be able to optimize your pages for a better output.
