Where is the outrage?
Where is the Outrage?
Where is the outrage? The American people are just not angry enough about how this White House administration is leading this country. Are republicans so adamant about supporting this republican president that they are willing to just ignore his blatant incompetence? Unfortunately, most of the democrats are too concerned with the upcoming elections and how they might look (to a set group) to do stand up to this administration. Our patience with the catering to big business and the wealthy at the expense of the middle class and working poor should have us infuriated. What will it take for the great citizens of this nation to demand honest people to represent us in local government, Congress, Senate, and the White House?
Where is the outrage for going to war because of numerous lies and false accusations? This current administration arrogantly goes on the air repeatedly and all but admits they lied. Then, they justify it by saying well it is too late because we are already committed to the campaign. Over 17,000 of our men and women have been killed or injured for the agenda of a select few, and many of us say nothing. Anyone who speaks out about this war is automatically labeled anti-American. We have become so afraid of our family and friends viewing us this way that we keep our opinions on the issue to ourselves. This silence only feeds this administration’s agenda. A large percentage of Americans still believe Iraq had something to do with “911

Another crybaby liberal
And what are you doing with your outrage? Are you raging against the machine by sitting at your computer? You are going to change the world by blogging. Go, you fighter of justice, go. Instead of crying, get off your ass and do something. Oh wait, that wouldn't be a liberal thing to do, now would it?

I thank you for your comment. I am just trying to open the discussion, which is one of my democratic rights. I could feel your passion and frustration in your message;unfortunately, you could not articulate it without insults. However, this is your right to say anything you want because of freedom of speech. And this crying Liberal has serverd in the Army and put his life on the line for this country...How about you?

I, too, have served in the Army. I guess that adds a bit of respect to your statements. It gives you a leg to stand on, unlike many others on this site who whine and complain.
Johnny NameCaller
Right, Left, blah blah blah! Deal with the ISSUES! You think Dubya's still doing a good job then explain why! You think the sainted government did a real bang-up job of Katrina and the War in Iraq then explain yourself! But Lefty Righty name-calling is getting real old, real quick.
Johnny, for once in your blogging existence why don't you deal with the argument itself rather than the arguer? It is a defense of the weak, you know? Why not just call everybody a bunch of poopy-pants? Grow up for these blogs or go back to the kid's table and let the adults talk, would you?

People are entitled to their opinions!!
Why are you attacking someone for giving their opinion? Whether or not I agree with him, I don't think attacking him is the answer...
If you think differently, then explain why JohnnyP5379... but do it respectfully, without calling someone a name and tearing them down.
I'm not a political person... but even I can see that something needs to change in this country. Thanks for your post, jessiejames. :)

Double post. Shit.
Wherefore Outrage?
Having dealt with Johnny (again), on to the blog itself. JJ, I think the outrage you are looking for is out there. It's in you. it's in me. It's in people all over the world right now. We don't hear about it because the Media is now totally corrupt and fully functioning towards the maintenance of the status quo. Blogs and the Internet are amongst the only places where you can really hear people's opinions.
Good blog, you nailed alot of the big points.
