I remember when I was young, I was always very naive and gullible. Because of that fact I have been fooled many times by many people.
Now I am very cold and hard
and that is very sad.

When I was young I was sleepwalking through life.
Because of that I was always in the wrong place
at the wrong time.
Now I live in awareness,
it is hard but I know what is real.

When I was young,
I wore my heart on my sleeve.
Because of this I have been hurt harshly
from lack of protection.
Now I can't remember where I hid it,
but my son knows were to find it.

When I was young,
I always hoped everything
would workout for me.
Because of that fact,
I never did my very best at anything.
Now I do my very best and let God handle the rest.

When I was young I thought all my
dreams would come true.
Because of that, I spent to much time dreaming &
not enough time planing.
Now I only plan sense Its time to make
those dreams come true. Diva
