Things usually happen in three's, so I am just waiting for the next thing to happen.
The first thing that happened last week: My 14-year old dog (a hyper yet adorable min pin) just stopped walking all of the sudden. He got up to eat and go to the bathroom, and that's it, and when he did get up he limped. And not a normal "ow my leg hurts" limp, but a lop-sided "help me I'm about to fall over" limp. After 2 days of him just laying around, we took him to the vet. Turns out Moe has a tumor. Thankfully the medicine he is on now has helped a lot and he is running around again and is back to his old self.
The second thing that happened: I heard my dad yelling for help one morning last week. I thought I was dreaming, my dad never asks for help. The next thing I knew, my mom came in and told me that dad fell down the stairs and could not get up. Just like that commercial. The ambulance came. It was so surreal, seeing my dad so vulnerable like that. Thankfully he is ok, it is only a sprained neck and a few slipped disks. It could have been worse. much worse.
So now I am being extra careful driving. I have yet to have an accident, but things happen in 3's. Not that I am wreckless or anything, but I do like to go fast. so anyway, I'll let you know what else happens.
