What IS subliminal messaging?

It is a method by which messages are transmitted to individuals BELOW the normal threshold of perception. For example, a visual message might be shown very briefly and not seen by a person consciously, yet perceived by them at an unconscious level.

You might wonder what is the value of sending a message if the person isn't aware of receiving it. And yet, this is EXACTLY what makes subliminal messaging so powerful. Our critically-aware conscious mind normally filters out most of the thousands of messages we receive every day, so they have no chance to make any real impact.

The subconscious, however, is the part of the mind that controls our deepest habits and behaviour. The subconscious soaks up any messages that DO get through to it, and immediately uses them to build new thought patterns and behaviours.
