WHAT IS CONSIDERED GOOD WRITING STYLE?

My perception of good writing sytle is anything that becomes immediately identifiable. Miles Davis, McCoy Tyner, Coltrane (three of my all time favorites) had a music style that was recognized from the "first" note played.

Check out the rants and raves of A_nominus_bob! This cat has style! A quarky yet beautiful approach to his writing craft. He's on top of his game. He has to be! No one can tweek the language in such a way without having "command" of it. I laugh everytime I read his post.

Check out the Maverick! His approach is always the same. Crisp, indepth, accurate, and precise. His style is so consistent that it's comical. And I can guarantee you, it's not his intent.

Check out the maestro "Bugsey". This woman has an aresnal at her command. There's a lot more to come from her. She's versatile, and can be anything she wants to be (that's why I'm in love).

The goal would be to write...and write...and write. Style emerges and becomes ones own nuique way of expressing.

Oh yeah...for the forum and the world to witness...a_nominus_bob... I know you man!I'm keepin' an eye out for you. You're the kind of cat that'll sneak up from behind. Besides, I know you write your stuff with that fat babe of yours lookin' over your shoulder. You better be careful she don't read my stuff. She might give me some play as a result.

You drink your whiskey, I'll drink my wine,

You tend to your bidness, and I'll tend to mine.

Don't start no mess up in here man!...cause I'm old school.

The Moor.

2. Maverick - For some reason he educates me, I read him.
3. Diane Brenner - I love her writing (I hope I got the spelling of hername right)
4. I do MISS someone called "believer" at the WU page --but as of yesterday she said she closed her accout there. I hope she gets here. She has the most number of readers there.
5. Ethan Meyers - Lovely style. smooth, and sometimes even "cute"
6. PastorJR - from the OTHER place ( I like his devotionals) You can also find some of these in my blogcharm site btw, because they'remy friends.
7. Someone called "veenus" in the WU blog --- humor is great for comment.
8. Okie... due to the emails , I also of course include the Moorish Prince because he does get reads and reactions in my email (except for that descriptive blade of grass somewhere and where are the waterfalls in his images)
9. Warmfriend - who has a great website ! Also owns podcasts and blogging pages.... and MADE it at associated cotent!
10. Sharon HH - read her AC included - I like her feminism articles!

the waterfalls!

Hey, it's not my fault they didn't upload! Ah yes, the descriptive blade of grass. It goes over the head of most people:)

It is simply the ability to know an individual by their writing. I referred to the Native Americans and their ability to read a blade of grass--and thus the ability to know who had passed and where they were headed.

A thought overturned, a sentence stepped on--are smybolic of that blade of grass. I can tell by writing where an individual is headed and where they've been.

Hey, so much for being at the bottom of this list with all of the love and attention given. Now a nomiunus Bog will never let me live this down:(

LOL - Click MY IMAGES Then.....

1.click my images/ add image/ UPLOAD (easier if jpg)
2. I noticed that "blade of grass" thingy but I considered it part of your Moorish nature to be mushy over nature, which isn't a bad thing except that OF ALL THING, why a blade of grass? Couldn;t it be the invisible waterfall instead?
3.A-Bob is has this Forest Gump style when he writes --- I would think some publisher is actually browsing through the blog pages yah knows? They do that at Blogcharm I know.
4.Hope the 3 am girl comes IN and knows how to write! LOLOLOL
5. Put your referral LINK on your entries, you might still get the most referrals btw, because you have an active blog. LOLOLOL!

I clicked the images!

It must have been a bad JPG. It's never happened before.

Hmmmmmmm. Why a blade of grass? It would be the one thing hardest to read--yet yielding the most results when read properly. That waterfall was supposed to make you mine in-deed...lol. I'll take your advice about the referral link.

That 3am girl is going to have to pay for all the abuse you've been giving me today:)..LOL

LOL... How's would You Logically Connect

How would you logically connect a waterfall to "making me yours"? I have my OWN full blasted shower and I get my baths in "solitude" (mushy term to match yer blade of grass) No need for the waterfalls where you have to get "nekkid" to get a decent bath in some wild rainforest!!!! I'm a pragmatist. If a I need refreshing I go to the shower! I do not hunt for waterfalls... LOL :) Dunno why they call a single grass "a blade of grass" (I hate blades).
That 3 am lady must be an animal abuser to whack you because you smell like my dog! I am so incensed.. call and make an ASPCA report!!!

waterfalls and the blade of grass!

Sigghhhh! What have I gotten myself into?

The waterfall is seperate, and where the Moorishprince loved to sit and contemplate the universe in ages past. There were hidden waterfalls off the coast of Spain--and this Spanish blood runs through your veins.

The mystery in reading a blade of grass is what the Moor learned centuries ago on the open plains of the Americas.

However, gettin' nekkid ain't a bad idea. U should get some good mail on this post...lol

Feed the dog..better yet, I'll come by and feed him:)

So the WaterFalls are Hidden?

Now, I know why your images of the waterfall do NOT come up- they're hidden! But all is not LOST Moorish Price... you can look out at the majesty of the Brooklyn Bridge and feel the same as you would had you been looking at those hidden waterfalls. It would most likely also inspire the same inspiration and desire for romance! (But please do NOT jump and think that is a waterfall). Even flippin the burgers could be a "wonder" to behold yah knows... imagine, after flippin you get that feeling that someone will EAT what you altruistically flippied? And that someone would appreciate your art of flippin and maybe write some poetry about it?
isn't inspiration all in the head? There is "something" in every nice act- even when we glimpse at the neon lights, we "see" something that may be perfuctory but nontheless, can still "move us".
(How's that for mushiness? ) I glimpse at the memories of Christmas lights and I instantly become happy!
You would feed my dog? Woweeee.... then come over and we can sit in the waterfalls here (not hidden) with Bugsey the St. Bernard gnawing at your burgers!
