What Happened to WritingUp?
What happened to WritingUp.com? Does anyone know? It used to be quite a big paid-to-blog site, very similar to this one. It had many users and was said to draw lots of traffic. Then I had heard of them having some trouble... something related to stolen content, I think, or perhaps violations of Google Adsense rules. At that point, I had abandoned my blog that I had there.
When I thought of reviving the old blog in a while, I could not even find WritingUp, let alone log in to my account. The site ceased to exist. Anyone knows what killed them? Or are they still around under a different name, perhaps bought out by some other company?

I wonder the same thing
I abandoned my account there too and then heard about the trouble. However there were some people's whose blogs were invaluable to me and I miss a lot. I wish they would pop back up so I could read those people's blogs again.
