What do you do with that unecessary sweater?

Personally, I am a fan of knotting a sweater at the waist. Maybe because I grew up doing this. It may look unsophisticated but it works great. Your hands are free. But be sure to not knot the sweater too tight. For a more sophisticated look knot the sweater at the neck. This is called the Thurston Howell look by Esquire magazine. This idea is the same as the prior and it frees your arms. The bike messenger look is yet another option. It is tied diagnoally. It is draped over one shoulder, knotted at the chest and under one arm. It looks haphazard to me. What do you think?
