What a Horrible Morning!

For those of you that have not already heard, there was a horrible shooting at Virginia Tech this morning. It started with one person killed and another injured in a first attack this morning, followed later by a much worse attack across campus. The second attack has claimed an additional 19 lives, including the gunman, and there are at least 20 other injuries reported!

This attack follows on the hills of a series of other problems at the normally quiet campus. It's the second shooting since August 2006. There was a bomb threat on April 2, followed by another bomb threat on Friday. This campus has gone through so much in less than a year.

I cannot, nor do I even want to, imagine what the parents of these college students are feeling at this time, especially those parents unabl to get a hold of their children. What a horrific start to the week!
