What a Blessing Cancer Research is!

I have gotten through my first chemo treatment. Even since less than two years ago the medications have improved. I am on two different anti-nausea drugs and they are working well. One was in my IV yesterday and I'm also on pills today. It seems that the new things coming out just keep making it better and easier to get the treatment necessary. Years ago the treatment was as bad or worse than the disease.
Tomorrow my brother is coming to stay with us for a few days. My husband works a long day on Wed. so my brother will be here. It is nice to have someone here to help pass the days.
I have been overwhelmed at how many friends and loved ones have sent cards, called, brought food etc. Just yesterday, I opened our front door to let the dogs out in the morning, and there was a plate of cookies )they're yummy by the way) and a card. People are just so caring and full of goodness. I know that Lord has placed them in my life to help me get through this and to minister to our needs whether physically, spiritually and emotionally. God is so good.

That's good news

May every treatment go as well for you. Friends are always important but we never know how important until times like these, right?
