We've been thinking about getting a swimming pool. Ever since I wrote about an Orlando pool home, the idea of having a pool home of my own has started to appeal. It's not that I don't like the beach. It's just the convenience of being able to go downstairs and take a quick dip, without having all the sand to contend with.

It seems a good idea to me and my hubby's all for the idea. We've planned and plotted and used bottles and string to find the right size. We've had a pool guy round - two, in fact - and now we're waiting for the quote. Watch this space - there may be a pool in my future in 2007.
