I wish I was a watermelon. So much so that I have contacted the local educational facilities to see if any offer watermelon lessons. Thus far I have found none, though keep trying. I also have some friends in the agricultural business, so will contact them.

While pursuing this angle, I will also be looking more directly for a watermelon mentor. One who either is or has been a watermelon. I am determined to chase my dream of being a watermelon.

Watermelons are cool. Somewhat turtle-like, with the thick, green, and protective rind. Very hydrated, watermelons. It is quite cool to be hydrated. It is, I understand, the way of thriving nature.

If I were a watermelon, I would be very popular. People like watermelons. I hear them talking about the red, meaty, and lush fruit. How they cannot wait to sink their teeth into them. Yet, I see no indication from the watermelons that this is a painful event. Just a watermlon event. They go through it all the time.

No big.

The little black seeds are like toys for those who would eat me. Kids like to spit them at each other. This can be fun, yet I understand that a responsible watermelon will encourage parents of these kids to be careful not to injure anybody elses' eyes.

Wateremlons seem quite benign. They do not seem to hold grudges or carry out vendettas. They do not seem to get all up in arms about wars and conflict and food that tastes bad and money and even bad dirt.

Watermelons just are. I am uncertain as to just how conscious, and on what level of consciousness, they are. I have been unable to get one to communicate with me. Once, while sucking on a piece of watermelon, I thought I heard a fun little squeak. But, then it was gone and now I cannot be sure.

I may have to go all 'tao' with the dream, and just be with a gang of watermelon. Just sit with them, and see what vibrations emerge as a result of our humanofruit synergy. I don't know if I should do this in the produce section of the grocery store, or buy a gang of watermelon and find a field or something where we can all sit. Without expectations or anything else that may occur in the grocery store.

I wish I was a watermelon.
